Abstract
HAPAB After 8 applications of granular paris green ( 15 lb/acre of 5 percent active compound ) to flooded plots of sandy loam soi, there is no evidence of an accumulation of arsenic in the dried soil. The amount of arsenic that is added to the soil as paris green is obscured by the high amount of naturally occurring arsenic. The 8 applications are roughly equivalent to 2-3 years of treatment, but in a single season. Technical difficulties in analysis may have reduced the accuracy of the sample data.
