Abstract

1. The serum of rainbow trout contains two proteins which have physical properties similar to those of human albumin. 2. Both proteins interact with anti(human albumin) serum. 3. The proteins have amino acid compositions that are similar but not identical. 4. The proteins bind palmitate and Bromocresol Green but not 8-anilino-1-naphthalene sulphonate. 5. Rainbow trout have two albumin-like proteins in their serum.
