Abstract

IPA COPYRIGHT: ASHP The synthesis of 16 benzo-1,2,3-thiadiazoles and 9 mercaptoethylaminomethylnaphthalenes as radioprotective agents is presented. The thiadiazoles showed promise as radioprotective agents, whereas no effects were seen in the naphthalenes. Acute toxicity data are also given.
