Abstract
Crosstalk is an important issue in PCB design. In this paper the crosstalk between two parallel micro-strip lines was studied particularly using the EMC simulation software PCBMod based on the PEEC&BEM algorithm. Results were obtained on relations of crosstalk response to signal frequency, distance between two micro-strip lines, length of the parallel lines and height to ground. According to the simulation result, the effect of crosstalk amplitude is varied with the length of the parallel line, distance, height to the reference level. Finally, the methods to prevent the crosstalk in PCB were brought out, which are very beneficial to PCB designers.
