Abstract
This note describes the development of procedures for examining the relationship between sediment geochemistry and biological impacts of contaminants. These relationships are illustrated by implementation of procedures In a laboratory experiment to assess the influence of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) contaminated sediment on bioaccumulation in estuarine clams.
